Julie Eisenberg Pitman is a visual artist based in Brooklyn. She works across a range of media including collage, photography and graphic design. She balances a design practice and a visual arts practice, bringing a dynamic approach to both.

Eisenberg Pitman’s inquiry into holding the space, and letting there be silence, by way of positive and negative, is her strategy to interrupt the narrative. Scrubbing away information feels fearless and stunning, in a world where everything bombards, over-spells and is unrelenting. What isn’t there, gives what’s there, significance. Her intention is to find the liminal, state of being. The threshold between what is, and what will be, in the in-between.

Eisenberg Pitman holds a BFA in Design from The University of Michigan. She studied at the Studio Arts College International (SACI) in Florence, Italy. Eisenberg Pitman exhibits both nationally and internationally, including Tokyo Digital Billboards, The Superchief Gallery, New York City; Palazzo Albrizzi, Venice, Italy; Alexandria Museum of Art, Louisiana; The Copeland Gallery, London, Verum Ultimum Art Gallery, Oregon; Sturt Haaga Gallery, California, and featured in CherryBombe & Musée Magazine. She now lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

As a graphic designer and creative strategist, Eisenberg Pitman uses a highly collaborative approach, focused on constructive, forthright communication.
